• Interest form application opens March 1st for Fall program admission

How:

• First, students must apply to their community college
• Second, visit the 49erNext page for the community college you are attending and submit your application to 49erNext.

Charlotte Spring Transfer

When:

• Apply by October 1

*While the Spring application deadline is November 15th, 49erNext Students are strongly encouraged to APPLY EARLY so that you can get your decision earlier, receive your financial aid award earlier AND receive early academic advising and registration access*

How:

• Visit https://future49er.charlotte.edu/apply/  
• Create your Future 49er Portal and submit your transfer application!

What:

• Submit the online transfer application
• If you are earning your associate degree, then email 49ernext@charlotte.edu for your application fee waiver
• Send a current official transcript from your community college
• Send any AP/IB/CLEP test scores to admissions

 We understand you still have classes in progress- you’ll send one official transcript now and one once your Fall semester grades are finalized and your associate degree is earned.

Additional Steps:

• Complete the FASFA to be considered for financial aid (UNC Charlotte School Code: 002975)
• Apply for graduation at the community college
